Excellence Marketing to represent Shure in Upper Midwest
Eden Prairie, MN
– Excellence Marketing, based in Eden Prairie, MN has announced that effective immediately, it has been selected to represent Shure Incorporated in its standard territory of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and western Wisconsin. The announcement was made by Ken Simons, President of Excellence Marketing.
In announcing the news, Simons commented "Shure is the acknowledged market leader in its product categories and a perfect fit for our Company. On a personal level, I am pleased to once again be affiliated with the company that I literally grew up with". Simons noted that his father had retired from the firm after 31 years of service, and that his own business career started with Shure in 1980. Simons was with Shure through 1982 before moving to Minnesota to work for Shure’s representative in the territory at the time (Mel Foster Technical Sales). He left that company in 1988 to found Excellence Marketing. Other members of the Excellence Marketing team include Paul Cassady, Pat Gilligan, Ralph Kumpula and newcomer Mark Mitchell—a 19-year veteran rep in the territory for Shure.
Commenting further, Simons added "Shure’s legacy for quality is one that is known throughout the industry. This legacy extends to its customer service, which includes the outstanding team of field reps in place around the world. We are honored to join this team and our goal is to continue in that tradition".
Excellence Marketing is now in its 18th year of supplying quality products and service to music and sound retailers, distributors, contractors and integrators in the markets it serves.
